Up to 207 Promotores with Latest Launch!
Our latest project launch near Cerro de Ortega in the Muncipio of Tecoman, Colima, Mexico marks several historic events for our small organization! We now have over 200 Community Health Workers (Promotores) and 17 of them are men! Before this graduating class, we had 186 female and 1 male Promotores. We are super proud of this distinguished class, since nearly all of them are farm laborers and worked a full day, starting very early in the morning, then spent mid afternoon till late at night taking their training course. ALL passed their examinations with flying colors!
Thank you Dra. Nina Castro and Dr. Roberto Martinez and our friends at PMC (Programa de Medicina en la Comunidad) for your hard work and dedication!

EclaireMD Partnership in the Works
EclairMD is a group of engineers, doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and other professionals who are passionate about improving health care. Their mission is to put practical tools into everyone’s hands to better control and improve the quality of life. They accomplish this through an innovative app for androids, tablets and iphones which enables anyone to better manage their own health. Best of all, their app is free and available for anyone to use!
EclaireMD’s founder will be accompanying Tia to Mexico next week to better understand the needs of our communities and to connect with Tia’s valued medical professionals. We are very much looking forward to ensuring the best tools and quality of care are available to the 70,000 people that our 187 dedicated Promotores (Community Health Workers) already serve. As we expand to bring our program to more villagers, our field partnerships become that much more valuable! Check back soon to hear about our progress!
