The guys in the white lab coats from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara‘s PMC (Programa de Medicina en la Comunidad) are the ones who provide the world-class training our Promotores receive. Our hard working training partner not only dedicate 40+ hours of instruction during the week of a Tia project, but they also provide much needed health care and medicines to the poor Mexicans living in the rural project area. A very long week indeed for our PMC brigade! Our Promotores learn through traditional instruction (shown above) as well as hands-on training.
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Roberto Martinez, Dra. Nina Castro and our friends at PMC, who have been our most valuable partner for over 8 years!
