Dr. Roberto and his entourage of volunteers worked very hard this weekend gathering follow-up data from our project in June in San Pedro Iztican. He discovered that 2 Tia Promotores were encouraged by our brigade members to apply to university to further their studies. Guess what! They applied and have been accepted! Woohoo! So proud of our Promotores and local Promotora Anita’s great leadership!

Our baseline data studies and follow ups help us constantly improve our model.  The data also continues to validate wonderful outcomes such as reduced immigration to the U.S., less domestic violence, and increase in female leadership after the implementation of Tia projects.
